Event Information
Description
FailCon 2011
In 2009, we surpassed all expectations of what a show on failure could do, attracting incredible speakers like Mark Pincus, Max Levchin, Sandy Jen, Max Ventilla, and more!
In 2010, we made headlines, getting onto the front page of the SF Chronicle Business Section, in the San Jose Mercury News, in Wired, and in TechCrunch. Over 450 founders, developers, investors, and service providers joined us to learn from one another's mistakes and struggles. Speakers included David Pogue, Jay Adelson, Heather Champ, Paul Buchheit, Steve Blank, Esther Dyson, and dozens more.
In 2011, we'll reach over 700 attendees around the world, with our first international event in Paris, France and our annual San Francisco event (this one) on October 24th.
You aren’t a real entrepreneur until you’ve had to deal with failure, and recovering from it - financially emotionally and practically - can be challenging. Hear how some major players in the industry have dealt with startup troubles recovered and kept a positive tenacious and energetic attitude through it all.
PLEASE NOTE: The Lunch Ticket includes lunch provided by our team at one of the incredible Japantown restaurants. We will organize groups by the topic of your choice for 90 minute lunch outings.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: FailCon tickets are transferable but are non-refundable.
