What We Learned From Our Biggest Mistakes

A panel of serial entrepreneurs will tell you about their biggest mistakes, what they learned, and how they moved on. Find out why they think failure can lead to success and what you need to know to overcome challenges. You’ll hear stories and advice you won’t get elsewhere. There will be time for Q&A, pupus, and networking.

Panel of Serial Entrepreneurs

  • Tim Dick is a General Partner of Startup Capital Ventures of Palo Alto. Tim founded Hawaii Superferry, Grassroots.com, and WorldPages.com. • Steve Sue is the founder of BizGym.com, a reinvention of business planning software. BizGym has spawned Lemonade Alley, a kids’ business plan competition, and Leihut.com, an online marketplace for Hawai‘i vendors. Steve was formerly a real estate developer and a conceptualist of consumer experiences, including casino mega resorts around the globe.
  • Carnet Williams is the founder of Sockpost and founder and former CEO of Sprout (acquired by InMobi). He was previously Executive Director of HiBEAM, Director of Clean Trade at The Nature Conservancy, Director of Academic Technology at Stanford University, Director of Business Development at TurboLinux, and founder/CEO of Tactics.com.
