Welcome to FADE IN: Screenwriters Workshop. Calling all young BIPOC creatives— Whether you’re an experienced screenwriter or just curious about how to start, this evening workshop is for you!

Curated by Chanel Swaydaca and led by Award Winning TV writer Lindsey Adawoo, we’ll cover screenwriting essentials like formatting, structure, genres, and loglines in a supportive, and inspiring space.

In partnership w/ CEE College at 75 Thermos Rd, the workshop runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.

Parking is free and available in the lot directly outside the CEE Building at 75 Thermos Rd. When you arrive, please check in with a team member to register your license plate and avoid receiving a ticket.

Is this even open to all ages?

This event is designed for young writers ages 12–18. Parents, siblings, and other family members or guests are welcome to attend and enjoy the event as well. Seating and refreshments will be available for all attendees. Please be sure to register and RSVP to secure your free ticket!
