Description

The Evolution of Ed Schools - Planning for the Future of Higher Education

A Faculty Symposium Facilitated by Dr. Ryan Watkins and Dr. Larry Medsker

Over the next 15 years, higher education will find itself increasingly under pressure to adapt to advanced technologies, economic tensions, shifting inequalities, and other core challenges stemming from our ever-evolving global societies and local communities.

Join the conversation on how schools of education (including GSEHD) can evolve and innovate, so we have the opportunity (and significant advantage) to adjust our strategies in relation to these anticipated trends and be leaders within our universities.

Dr. Ryan Watkins is a GW Professor of Education.

Dr. Larry Medsker is a GW Research Professor in the Human-Technology Collaboration Program.

Lunch will be provided.
