Event description
The second in the Faculty of Science workshops for early career researchers.

About this Event

Establishing a career as an independent researcher is a huge time commitment – conducting the research, analysing data, writing papers and grant proposals, teaching and administrative responsibilities . . . and then finding time for family and friends. Are you managing your time as effectively as possible?

In this workshop you will hear from academics at all career stages who employ different approaches to successfully manage their time. You will learn about the techniques they use, and assess which ones you could adopt.

We strongly suggest that you keep a ‘timesheet’ of what you spend your time on for a week (or more!) prior to this session.

You will leave this session with a plan to improve your time management and get more done, more effectively.

PLEASE NOTE: Places in this workshop are limited to the first 40 registrants. If you have missed out, please contact Di Arnott (diane.arnott@uwa.edu.au) to be placed on the wait list.
