On the 10th October 2016 the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be holding a PGR Induction for new PhD students. All students commencing their studies in September/October 2016 are expected to attend, but attendance is also strongly recommended to any PGR students who have started since November 2015.
The schedule will be as follows:

- 11:00 – 13:00 Faculty Introductory Talks (Welcome; Completing a PhD at the University of Liverpool; The Library; Faculty Research Culture and Impact; the engage@liverpool scheme)
- 13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14:00 – 16:00 School Sessions: Venues TBC
16:00 – 17:00 Wine Reception in the Sydney Jones Library
Please book a ticket for the Faculty Induction and one separate ticket for your School's afternoon induction. The disciplines within each School are as follows:

Please also indicate if you would like to attend the wine reception in the Sydney Jones Library by booking an additional ticket for this. This will take place in the Postgraduate Researcher Room and will include an opportunity to visit the Library's Special Collection and Archives. Nibbles and soft drinks will also be provided.
