Event description

Description

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's School of Nursing invites all faculty, staff, and graduate students to attend the first Lunch and Learn event of a series focusing on multidisicplinary approaches to treating chronic pain.

The October 2nd event will be a presentation and discussion led by Dr. Matthew McClanahan, DO, a local primary care physician who specializes in treating chronic pain holistically. He will provide an overview of chronic pain and answer questions such as: What is chronic pain from a neurological perspective? Who suffers from chronic pain? And, how do we begin to treat chronic pain in the midst of an opioid epidemic.

Space is limited, and lunch will be provided.

The event is sponsored by UTC School of Nursing's CANDL federal HRSA grant. To learn more, visit utc.edu/candl.
