On Tuesday August 13th, our New York Cares HandsOn Tech and social media strategist volunteer Jennifer Leung, will be hosting a Facebook 101 Training Webinar for Nonprofits.  Learn how Facebook can be used for fundraising, recruiting volunteers, increasing engagement and more!  She’ll explore best practices for content and what other successful organizations are doing now.  Get your social media plan up to speed with the always expanding social media community!

This is a digital webinar. Enjoy this training from the comfort of your home, office, coffee shop, park, etc!

Requirements for Event Eligibility

In order to attend this training, you must be a nonprofit organization. If you have signed up for this event and have not shown yourself to represent an NPO, your registration will be pushed back to make room for other NPOs. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Jennifer Leung  is a stand out HandsOn Tech volunteer with social media expertise.  HandsOn Tech connected Jennifer with Crossroads Community, a nonprofit that serves as a food pantry, soup kitchen and overnight shelter for women. Jennifer consulted and brainstormed with Crossroads to figure out their current social media plan and goals for the future. For our second meeting, she created a wonderful presentation that discussed best practices for Crossroads Community and their next steps. She presented not only for our contact but also for other dedicated volunteers and board members as well. Jennifer's professionalism and time management made her a great asset for this project.  Jennifer is currently working with The Mission Continues on a social media consultation project.
