learn together and leave with research-based nutrition education and tested recipes.


Healthy Breads

Muffins, biscuits, cream puffs, pita, rolls and bread – oh my! Learn to make delicious and nutritious quick breads and yeast breads (both the traditional kneaded and no knead) in this demonstration and hands-on class. Get ready to try new recipes and techniques then sample the results!

-Taught by Heidi Copeland, Leon County Extension.


How to Pre-register:

Pre-registration is required. You can also call to register. Payment must be received by the Friday prior to class (November 8, 2013).



Class time:

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Call ahead to register. Registration at the door is not guaranteed. Class size is limited.
  • No one will be turned away. Call ahead if you are unable to pay.
  • Classes will include a brief lecture, hands-on food activity, sample recipe, and clean-up.
