About this event
Remember that time you woke up with a fabric design in your head? No?
Well, let us help you dream AND customize your own yardage. Under the direction of teaching artist Allison Hunt, workshop participants will learn how to customize fabric using Gelli printing plates. Not only will you learn to love the exploration of print design, you will leave with 1 yard of fabric to use as you choose!
This workshop is ideal for students ages 16+ and made possible with funding from the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
About Allison Hunt
Allison is an artist and jeweler based in Southern New Jersey with an infatuation for color, pattern, and movement. She received her BFA in Jewelry & Metalsmithing from The University of the Arts in 2001 where she continued to work and began teaching. Since then, she has taught arts and jewelry classes to students of all ages at several regional art centers and institutions. She currently works for Perkins Center for the Arts and continues to make jewelry and other wearable art.
