Event Details

Join UChicagoGRAD as we explore the collections at the DuSable Museum and learn about innovative research from graduate students across the university who study race, politics, and history. Graduate student presenters will give brief presentations, referencing works in the museum as a way to introduce and contextualize their academic research. Reception to follow with free food and drinks, and museum admission will be free! This event is made possible thanks to UChicago Art's ArtsPass program.

Graduate Student Presenters:

Ashley Finigan(PhD Student, History)
LaShaya Howie (PhD Student, Anthropology)
Caine Jordan (PhD Student, History)
Sarah Weicksel(PhD Student, History)

If you wish to walk over on your own, please meet at the front door of the DuSable Museum, 740 East 56th Place—on campus right west of Cottage Grove Avenue and 57th Street in Washington Park.
