This series will introduce small businesses to the basics of exporting. Each month, an expert will discusss a new topic and what small businesses should know when exporting.
May 18th - Are you ready to export?
- In this webinar, the Small Business Administration and US Commercial Service will provide guidance in assessing your company's ability to enter international markets.
June 15th - Government Resources for U.S. exporters
- This webinar will introduce attendees to government agencies which support companies in their international sales expansion . We will have representatives from Ohio Export Assistance Network, US Commercial Service, EXIM Bank and the Small Business Administration.
July 13th - Financing your international sales
- This webinar will discuss best practices and tools from the Small Business Administration and EXIM Bank for financing your international sales.
August 10th - Legal considerations
- This webinar taught by Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter will introduce attendees to the major legal considerations for selling their products and services overseas. Topics to be covered include international sales contracts and intellectual property protection.
September 14th - Logistics considerations
- Getting your product from your company's warehouse to your overseas customer can be a challenging endeavor. Let the Ohio Export Assistance Network and the US Commercial Service help you navigate the international supply chain.
