Event description

Description

Central Piedmont Community College is home to Explorer Post #216. Exploring is a subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, and is a coeducational career exploration program. Students are invited to participate in this program and work with college faculty to learn about ways to jumpstart your college and career . There will be a once a month meeting for the students, ages 14-21 years old.

Our Firstnighter will be on October 24th at 6:00 - 7:00 PM. It will take place at the CPCC Central Campus in the Zuill Building Room 3106. There you will learn more about what this program is about, how it works, and register. This program is only available to the first 15 people that register, so there will be those unable to participate. If you do make it on the list, please take this program seriously and plan to attend.

Meeting schedule:

(All Meetings are from 6:00 to 7:00 PM)

October 24th First-Nighter/Career and College Promise

November 7th Technical Programs

November 28th Career Coach

It will cost $60.00 to register and only cash or check will be accepted (no credit/debit cards). Checks are to be made payable to 'BSA.'

The first meeting is MANDATORY, and those that register and do not attend will forfeit their spot to the next person on the waiting list.

If you cannot make it, then please notify Brian Sweeney immediately so that your spot may be made available to someone else. Brian Sweeney may be reached at brian.sweeney@scouting.org.
