Exploring Pasadena on Foot: Saloons & Speakeasies

Saturday, July 16 | 10:00 to 12:00 pm

Learn about Pasadena’s long and complicated relationship with alcohol on this two-hour stroll through Old Pasadena with history sleuth and tour guide Julia Long.

Pasadena prided itself on being a "dry" community even before Prohibition, which obviously meant that there was rampant rule-breaking everywhere you turned! Explore the ups and the downs, the "wets" and the "drys," that have characterized this colorful slice of the Crown City's history.

This tour will begin at 20 E. Union St, Pasadena, CA 91103 and end next to Lucky Baldwin's Pub (17 S. Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105).

Advance reservations required; limited availability.

Please Note: This tour will not enter any bars/restaurants or include alcoholic beverages.
