Description

Exploring Our Relationship to Impermanence and Change

A course with Candace Cassin

4 Tuesdays, January 8, 2019; 4:00pm-5:45pm

Suggested contribution: $32-80 registration + teacher donation

The Buddha taught three characteristics of experience: impermanence (anicca), unsatisfactoriness (dukkha), and not-self (anatta). Impermanence, or change, is one of the facts of life we depend on wholeheartedly at times, and resist with all our might at others. Developing a skillful understanding of, and relationship with, change can enhance our capacity to be intimate with experience, and strengthen our equanimity with the comings and going of life. As time permits, we will also explore dukkha and anatta. Snow date: Tuesday, Feb 5, 2019.

*Our teachers give freely of their time, wisdom, and experience and depend upon contributions from students for their livelihood. We recommend an equal or greater donation to the teacher than for registration.
