The oldest religious traditions share many similar ideas, and may share common roots. On this night, we will explore the ancient mystic beliefs found in both Judaism and Vendanta.
Kabbalah is the ‘Way of the Jewish Mystics’. It is the unique Jewish flower in the garden of universal spirituality. This evening will be a ‘dialogue of devotion; a truth transmission’ between the flower of Judaism and the precious flower of Vedanta, two exquisite expressions of spiritual healing and wisdom. An evening of ‘Veda’ or Knowing our True Self for the purpose of awakening.

Rabbi Ilan Ashkenazi is a Kabbalah teacher and a scholar, his approach to Kabbalah is humanistic and heart-focused.
Rabbi David Ingber is the Founder and Spiritual Director of Romemu, NYC. Romemu is a mystical, progressive, open-hearted and integral Jewish community that promotes human flourishing in body, heart, mind and spirit. Rabbi David studied for over 20 years in Orthodox seminaries, studied and practiced Yoga and Tai Chi before meeting his beloved teacher, Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, of blessed memory. Rabbi David is direct disciple and lineage holder in Reb Zalman’s lineage.
