About this event
Middle schoolers are invited to attend one, some, or all of these four in-person workshops, which will give them a safe and affirming space to gain accurate information about sexuality presented in developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and positive way. This first workshop, on Sexuality & Self-Worth, will explore body image, gender identity and sexual orientation, self-esteem, and more. Led by Samantha Steinfeld, licensed professional therapist and sex educator, and Abigail Chamblee, sex educator.
Parents are invited to a pre-workshop meeting via Zoom to learn more and ask questions about what their children will be exploring. The meeting will be held on the Wednesday before each workshop at 7PM.
Next workshops will be Sexual Health & Responsibility (February 6, 2023), Healthy Relationships & Consent (March 26, 2023), and Understanding Sexual Messaging (May 7, 2023).
