About this Event

It’s field trip day! Join us at our next event, which will take us to Carleton University’s Advanced Cognitive Engineering (ACE) Laboratory. The ACE Lab is associated with the Visualization and Simulation (VSIM) Centre and houses large-scale flight simulators, as well as an impressive array of fundamental simulation tools and technologies including motion platforms, motion cueing seats, and high fidelity flight control systems (https://carleton.ca/ace/). During our visit, we will tour the lab, hear about exciting research, and have a chance to try out some of the virtual simulators. (Note: Taking pictures or videos in the lab is prohibited)

Food and refreshments will be provided.
