Sessions will be co-moderated by Eve Sheedy, Executive Director of the LA County Domestic Violence Council.
January 6: Health Care & DV
This session will explore how domestic violence comes up in medical settings and how providers can respond with the whole family in mind. ACEs and some of the medical/mental health consequences of DV will be explored.

January 13: Engaging Men and Fathers
This session will explore how men and fathers can be engaged in preventing, treating and healing from domestic violence with the whole family in mind.

January 20: K-12 Education & DV
This session will explore how domestic violence comes up in classrooms, and what educators and school personnel can do to support and serve the whole family. Questions around mandatory reporting and the connection between social services and education will be discussed.

This session will explore how housing and domestic violence are interconnected, particularly with respect to family stability and concepts relating to failure to protect.
