Lessons Learned: Julie will be sharing her background, how she got to be an intuitive (psychic) purpose coach after a ten-year career in economic development and urban planning, and her lessons learned since empowering 100+ entrepreneurs, senior corporate execs, creative professionals and retirees to know their purpose.
Individual & Group Exercises: Explore your own purpose and passions through individual reflection and group discussion. Julie will share strategies for you to lead more creative and inspired lives. Each monthly meetup will have a different theme.
With the new year, this month's theme is "Courage & Creativity!" Whether you're finding a new job, looking to find love or doing something entirely new, learn Julie's top tips for using purpose to plan out (and manifest) the life you want. You'll be doing some reflection, individual exercises, and walking away with action steps to kick off your spring with a bang.
Networking: Meet other purpose-centered people in New York City. Join our e-newsletter to get free tips for a purposeful life and hear of upcoming events and workshops.
Ticket: $20. This includes a personalized mini-reading on your highest guidance (valued at $65) for 2017. People have called these mini-readings "life-changing," "on point" and "it cuts right to the core of what I'm dealing with."
Julie Chan, Founder, Being My Purpose:
Julie Chan is a social entrepreneur, creative artist, and intuitive purpose coach who believes that every single person has a higher purpose -- gifts they want to share, lessons they want to learn, and experiences they want to have in service to humanity.
After a series of spiritual experiences that changed her view of the world, Julie recently "came out" with intuitive (psychic) abilities. She uses her intuitive connection with people, her decade-long career in economic development and education, and lessons she's learned from her clients and her own life, to empower people who are seeking deeper meaning and purpose in every aspect of their lives -- their career, relationships, and service.
She has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors leading strategy and initiative implementation that ultimately improved lives, businesses, and cities. These initiatives spanned industries ranging from biotech, health tech, to entrepreneurship education and real estate. She was previously Assistant Vice President at New York City Economic Development Corporation, co-founder of Crosby Street Gallery, among other roles, and is passionate about the intersection of creative arts, physical space, communities, and spirituality.
She holds a BA from Yale University and a Master's degree from MIT. She is currently a fellow at Revive the Dream Institute, which catalyzes leaders in education reform who are committed to improving education for underprivileged youth.
