Explore how indigenous peoples used Cerrito Creek and Albany Hill on an easy, leisurely walk.
Creekside Park 3300 Pierce St. Albany, CA 94706
Margot Cunningham and Susan Schwartz, longtime leaders of volunteer restoration, lead an easy, leisurely walk along Cerrito Creek and the base of Albany Hill. We'll explore how Native Americans used the area and native plants.
Wear masks, comfortable clothes, and walking shoes. Bring water, a snack, and sticks if you use them. There are no nearby restrooms. Maximum attendance six -- no exceptions and no unregistered guests. This walk may be too slow and talkative for active children.
