About this event

Explore Granada Neighborhood's Architectural Treasures on our Walking Tour image

Join the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation on November 7th for a one-hour guided walking tour of Granada, one of Sarasota's most historically significant neighborhoods.

Each one hour tour will begin at Granada's Landmark Granada Fountain in Bonita Park, at the corner of Fortuna and Camino Real.

Your guide will share fascinating glimpses into the architectural styles beginning in the 1920s, when builders began combining Spanish features with those of Mediterranean villas and palaces to promote Sarasota as an exotic location.
