Explore, Create & Reset - Mosaic or Collage
Create a meaningful self-expressive mosaic or collage project to tell your story through art.
About the Class
Looking for something more meaningful than another night out? Explore, Create & Reset is a one-of-a-kind leisure experience that blends creativity, self-expression, entertainment, and hands-on crafting into an uplifting and memorable event.
Hosted at Tulsa Stained Glass and inspired by the book Explore Your World by Richard Bohm, this three-hour class invites participants to step away from stress, reconnect with their imagination, and create meaningful art that tells a story.
This is not simply a craft class for making pretty things. It is an invitation to join a growing tribe of thinkers, creators, and explorers who believe creativity can help build stronger people, stronger relationships, and a better world around us.
Using the EMOSY five-step process—Explore, Sketch, Refine, Design, and Share—participants learn how to transform thoughts, memories, emotions, and ideas into visual expression using color, shape, and line. The process encourages participants to honor the past, focus on the present, and create hope for the future through meaningful creative exploration.
No artistic experience is needed. The workshop is intentionally playful, welcoming, and non-competitive. Through engaging exercises, storytelling, sketching, collage, and hands-on crafting, participants learn to quiet self-criticism, reduce stress, and trust their imagination.
Participants may choose between two project options:
Collage Experience
Create a personalized collage using magazine images, papers, and meaningful objects. Participants are encouraged to bring copies of photos, letters, ticket stubs, programs, favorite magazines, or small personal items to make the project uniquely their own.
Mosaic Experience
Design and create a 6” x 6” mosaic using authentic stained glass pieces mounted on an art board base. Participants explore color, symbolism, and composition while learning beginner-friendly mosaic techniques.
All materials and instruction are provided.
To complete the experience, every class includes the popular Rage Room Reset Experience. Participants may write, doodle, or draw symbols representing stress, worries, or emotions onto dishware before symbolically smashing the pieces in the Rage Room. For many, it becomes a playful and surprisingly uplifting moment of release, renewal, and multiplied blessings.
Throughout the workshop, participants often discover something unexpected: creativity is not about perfection—it is about expression, connection, and possibility.
Whether you are looking to reduce stress, overcome creative blocks, reconnect with your playful side, try stained glass for the first time, or simply enjoy a meaningful afternoon of creativity and entertainment, Explore, Create & Reset offers a welcoming place to begin.

Rage Room Experience
All classes include Rage Room smashing. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing multiplied blessings or riddance of ill feelings.
