Explore A Career in Music Therapy- ages 14-21

WHAT: Music Therapy

WHY: Because music therapy is an exciting career that brings together creativity, musicianship, science, and a passion for helping others.

WHEN:

• February 4th, 3:15-4:30 pm. Orientation. What is Music Therapy (MT)

**Parents/Caregivers are asked to attend the orientation.

• February 9th, 6:00-7:30 pm. Improvisation. MT in Mental Health.

• February 16th, 6:00-7:30 pm. Chimes & Ukelele. Neurodiversity in MT.

• February 23rd, 6:00-7:30 pm. Keyboard. Neurorehabilitation in MT.

• March 2nd, 6:00-7:30 pm. Showcase run through/rehearsal.

• March 16th, 6:00-7:00pm. Showcase.

**Open to family and friends. Invite them to attend!

The orientation is free. The explorers fee ($75.00 for students new to the Explorers Program who are

interested in participating in the program). Participants are limited to 18 students – make sure to RSVP early!
