Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP

Attendees will have an opportunity to find out about different ways of working in art therapy from the individual in the art therapy studio, to more innovative forms of art therapy in places such as refugee camps. Through these case studies, an experiential and discussion, Sarah will describe the challenging but fascinating work of the art therapist and how to get started on your career path.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Sarah Robinson qualified as an art therapist in 2011 and volunteered for Art Refuge UK in the Tibetan Transit Centres in Nepal and India. Since then, Sarah has been working in the fields of displacement caused by both manmade and natural disasters, and has also been working with children and young people in mainstream and specialist education settings.
