Event description

Description

In this course we will learn about aesthetic trends throughout photography's history. These ideas, in conjunction with content from prominent figures within the arts, will be used to identify compositional norms. We will also discuss feelings involved with becoming a photographic subject with Roland Barthes as a guide.

Instructor Bio: Erik Simkins is an artist exploring the intersection between digital image making and traditional arts; his photographic work includes documenting the filmmaking process for commercial films, with personal interests of abstract printmaking and collage. | http://simkinsphotography.com |

Glazer's is now offering a wide range of new classes for all levels of photographers! We are proud to provide our community with skills and techniques to improve the quality of their work and introduce them to undiscovered interests in photography!

Your input is always appreciated! Don't see a class you want to take? Suggest one here!
