Exploration of Spirituality and Storytelling in Dance

Description
As part of the weekend-long resiency around Akram Khan's XENOS, the Center for the Arts & Religion at the Graduate Theological Union will host an interactive session exploring spiritual and movement ideas. Liturgical dance artists Carla DeSola (CARe/GTU) and David McCauley (CalPerformances); kathak dancer, educator and choreographer Charlotte Moraga; and Dr. Michelle T. Summers (CARe/UC Berkeley, Dept. of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies) will lead the workshop.
This workshop is one of four events surrounding Khan's XENOS performance, held over the weekend of March 2-4. Registering for this event automatically enrolls you as a member of the cohort taking part in the following events:
