Event description

Description

Food, wine and beer festivals are more than just fun. It takes a well-oiled machine to pull off a successful event. It takes a group of masters to create and manage festivals with multiple venues and participants from all over. From intimate meetings to celebrations for thousands, special events offer the opportunity to directly engage consumers in a brand and make them an exciting tool for today’s marketing team. Hear from our panelists of expert planners on the nuances of bringing brands to life.

Panelists:

Theresa Delaney, Founder, Creative Tribe
A brand strategist and copywriter specializing in developing brand voice for small businesses, Theresa Delaney founded Creative Tribe as a way to connect with Tucson’s creative community. Creative Tribe is monthly workshop series for women to connect offline, learn from local experts and get creative with hands-on projects. Theresa has incorporated Tucson’s business and creative communities into workshops promoting both artisan and area businesses. Creative Tribe has grown to host workshops in Phoenix and around the country.

Alyssa Gallion, Founder & CEO, Celebrate for Good
Alyssa Gallion is an avocado enthusiast and proponent of making the world a better place. She enjoys people watching and binge watching nearly any BBC series. Alyssa founded Celebrate for Good to offer hosted party experiences that allow guests to enjoy something they haven’t before while benefitting an area non-profit. Celebrate for Good staff takes your event like a birthday or rehearsal dinner and creates a new experience for guests while a percent goes back to charity. Experiences include a rooftop picnic, a farm to table dinner party and a 1950s prom.

Laura Reese, Founder & Principal, Storyteller PR
Laura Reese has been practicing publicity and marketing for more than 10 years. She began as an assistant in NYC for Time Warner, and now serves as principal for Storyteller Public Relations. At the moment she gets to work with a variety of clients including restaurants, hotels, and the craft brewing industry. From beer crawls, to coffee cuppings, to tomato throwing parties, she’s used events to help brands engage with their audiences. When she’s not PR-ing, she likes to DJ for KXCI Community Radio.
