Event description

Description

Described as a “marvelous, historic organ” by Jack Bethards, President of Schoenstein Organ, the organ inside of Hack Temple (Formerly Guadalupe Church) was nearly lost being silent for decades.

On September 28th for the first time since the organ was brought back to life, the public is invited to discover the amazing story of the organ’s history and hear it’s brilliant sound, sound experienced as it was created when men wore top hats, women wore petticoats and horse-drawn carriages rumbled in the streets of charming, Victorian San Francisco.
