Event description

Description

Join us on December 13th from 6-8pm at WeWork Thanksgiving Tower for a workshop on the basics of Experience Design, led by Stacey Guillen and hosted by Brass Tacks Collective and WeWork Labs!

Workshop Description:

Experience Design = Creating adaptive, interactive, and immersive experiences for your product and/or service. Weaving your brand narrative through an experience from start to finish.

UX and UI may be familiar acronyms that are evolving. Now XD, Experience Designers are on the frontlines of the event planning space. When brands can inspire a feeling, the effects ripple powerfully. These are the brands that leave a lasting impression! Experience design is how we create these long-remembered moments for your brand. The goal is to create experiences that surprise, delight and resonate.

Today, experience design, is “the practice of designing products, processes, services, events, omnichannel journeys, and environments with a focus placed on the quality of the user experience and cultural relevant solutions.” Hence, the Experience Designer is the brand experience’s quarter back.

XD goes beyond 2D. It’s about curating and designing a connected and engaging experience that humanizes the brand by telling its story 3D. Pop experiences or corporate events are changing. How people work and interact with each other is shifting. Delivering a program and event that drives action and active business is the challenge! That’s where experience designers come in to listen and transform ideas into meaningful and compelling solutions that fosters engagement and conversation.

Let’s imagine the startup, small business, or even the Fortune 500 company with the challenge to create a journey that is enriched, that is helpful, and that isn’t just using new tech but emphasizes with the users and blends the online and offline ecosystems. Perhaps you have to launch your mobile app, brand activation or host a re-branding experience so that your users understand the journey. What do you do?

The workshop will show you the following:

  • Convey your brand’s personality and voice to your customers

  • Design memorable, meaningful, and valuable event experiences at all points along their event journey in a budget

  • Useful tools for experience designing (XD)

  • Design and deliver buzzworthy events and experiences that translate to your bottom line.

***All workshop registrants will receive a free brand discovery and consultation with Brass Tacks Collective. Email marykate@brasstackscollective.com and include your membership location to redeem.
