American companies from the healthcare industry are facing more and more challenges regarding the export of their products. The lack of information and knowledge vis-à-vis the European market can present a serious barrier to the development of such operations. However, Europe shouldn’t be ignored as it represents one of the largest markets for the healthcare industry, and hence displays a huge potential for US companies.
BioLog Europe is a Belgian Government agency whose mission is to provide free assistance to foreign companies from the healthcare industry that are willing to expand their business into Europe. Working as a non-profit organization, Biolog Europe doesn’t charge for the services it provides. Among other things, they offer an analysis of the company’s expansion potential, an easy access to infrastructure, to financial incentives and to our extensive network of economic partners.
Among its multiple partner organizations, the Wallonia Investment & Trade office (WIT) is a non-profit government organization in charge of assisting US companies to expand in Europe with a physical presence in Wallonia, which is the largest region of Belgium.
BioLog Europe is currently helping Patients' & Consumers' Pharma (P&C Pharma) to achieve a successful expansion into Europe. P&C Pharma is an emerging life-science company developing novel technologies to produce customized pharmaceutical products for human and veterinary patients.
