Event description

Description

Far too many communities and individuals are on the wrong side of the digital divide.

Expanding access to reliable and affordable broadband will enable more Americans to benefit from and participate in the innovation economy. Connecting underserved communities to high-speed internet is especially critical and can best be achieved through an all of the above approach of 1. infrastructure investments 2. technological breakthroughs and 3. reducing unreasonable red tape at every level.

Important, bipartisan leadership to expand broadband access, from both the public and private sectors, is too often overshadowed by more contentious issues. Chairman Pai and the distinguished panel of experts will discuss the policy frameworks and next generation technologies that will finally bridge the digital divide for 100% of American households.
