The Discover Downtown program takes a holistic approach to community development by promoting a curated group of merchants from a specific neighborhood through online and offline tactics. Program goals include driving consumer foot traffic to that community and highlighting the small businesses and entrepreneurs that help the neighborhood thrive.

All business types within the community of Hyde Park, Chicago are eligible to participate.

Merchants who join the Discover Downtown Hyde Park campaign will:

• Receive the option of free professional photography for their business (likely scheduled during week of October 7-11) - merchants retain rights to photos.
• Inclusion in unique email send (~50K subscribers) to subscribers in Hyde Park and surrounding neighborhoods zip codes - Projected launch date of campaign/email will be mid-October.
• Business name included in press release sent from Groupon Communications team and DTHPC/SECC.
• Discover Downtown Hyde Park landing page posted on Groupon social media.
• No long term contract for participating in this campaign.
