The Georgia Grown Agriculture Commodity Commission and the Georgia Department of Agriculture are pleased to announce the 2020 Georgia Grown Symposium being held in Macon, Georgia at the Marriott Macon City Center Hotel February 11 and 12. This year's symposium will be a two-day event with educational sessions offered on day one geared toward craft food producers, agritourism operators, and school nutrition directors. Craft food panel discussions will include topics on growing your business, market and data trends, and e-commerce. Agritourism panel topics will include social media best practices, regulatory information, and customer service. School nutrition sessions will cover Farm to School Procurement, Building Community Partnerships, Creative Staffing for your Farm to School Activities and an update on Farm to School with DOE & GDA.

On day two, Wednesday, February 12, attendees have an exciting opportunity to attend an all-day farm tour to agritourism operations in the area. Tour stops include pecan growers and processors, peanut production facilities, and a Georgia Grown retail experience.

Georgia Grown is currently seeking exhibitors who are paid members of the Georgia Grown program. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with Georgia Grown members from across the state throughout the course of the day.

NOTE: THIS IS ALSO TAKING THE PLACE OF THE GEORGIA GROWN SOURCE SHOW. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE IN FRONT OF DECISION MAKERS FOR SCHOOL NUTRITION, DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!

Exhibitor registration is $250 and includes (1) 8ft. table, (1) tablecloth, (2) chairs and (1) wastebasket. Power is available if requested on the order form. Only paid Georgia Grown members will be considered as exhibitors. If you are not a member of the Georgia Grown program, please register here. Space is limited, therefore only one booth per company will be allowed.

SPACE ASSIGNMENT – Georgia Grown staff will assign booth space and a layout will be established prior to your arrival. Georgia Grown staff will determine the best space for each exhibitor depending on availability and neighboring exhibitors. Each booth will be approx. 10'x10'.

CANCELLATION – There will be no refunds issued for exhibitor space.

EXHIBITOR PERSONNEL – Each booth will receive one (1) complimentary registration to Tuesday’s education session and Wednesday’s Farm Tour. Additional staff must register online by clicking here.

SET UP – Booths can be set up on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Exhibitors may choose to set up on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. All booths must be in place by 9:00 a.m. Please make travel arrangements accordingly.

TEAR DOWN - All exhibits must stay in place until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

SOLICITION - Solicitation by non-exhibitors is strictly prohibited. Any person, representing a non-exhibitor, identified soliciting in common areas of the conference location, will be asked to vacate the premises.

EXHIBIT RESTRICTIONS – Georgia Grown reserves the right to accept or reject any exhibit space registration. The exhibition is a closed trade show designed to provide a showcase for equipment, goods and services used or sold by the agriculture industry. Georgia Grown will refund payment of any prospective exhibitor who is not approved by Georgia Grown.

Storage space is not available for display materials and/or show merchandise. At the conclusion of the set-up operation, all related equipment, crates, trash, boxes, etc. must be removed from the premises no later than the last day of the exhibit show period.

Hold Harmless Clause- The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Hotel, its owner, and its management company, as well as their respective agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims. The Hotel will not be responsible or liable for any loss damage or claims arising out the of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel’s premises except for any claims loss, or damages arising directly from the Hotel’s own negligence.

Exhibit space is limited and will close as soon as the maximum exhibitor space has been reached. If maximum space has not been reached, registration will close on February 3, 2020.

Discounted Room Rate Reservation Cutoff Date deadline is Tuesday, January 11, 2020. After January 11, the hotel will no longer offer a discounted rate.
