The Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Society is a non-profit organization, established in 1976, to educate and promote the art of hand lettering. This exhibit displays work by their members on the theme of home. The artwork was created to support the work of Project HOME, whose mission is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in the Philadelphia area by providing housing, education, job training, and healthcare for our less fortunate neighbors.

On display in the Art Department's hallway gallery until the end of April. Stop by anytime the library is open to check out the exhibit.

Pre-registration is required to attend the exhibit's reception on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 1 – 3 pm. The Parkway Central Library is at this time closed on Saturdays except for special events with pre-registered attendance like this one. Attendees will be able to enter the building through the accessible entrance on Wood St. behind the building.
