There has been a last-minute change in speakers; Stephanie Davies-Arai is no longer able to make it due to personal circumstances, and will be replaced by Robert Withers:
Robert Withers is a training analyst with the Society of Analytical Psychology and Senior Lecturer in mind-body medicine. He is co-founder of The Rock Clinic in Brighton, where he works as a Jungian analyst, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. He has a long-standing interest in transgender issues and has published several articles on the subject.

Merseyside Equality Consortium are happy to announce our first speaking event to address the increasing concerns of educational professionals in the Merseyside area in how best to support gender diverse children in their care.
Speakers include:
Stephanie Davies-Arai, founder of parent-led organisation Transgender Trend. She was shortlisted for the prestigious John Maddox Prize for Science (2018) which "recognises the work of individuals who promote sound science and evidence on a matter of public interest, facing difficulty or hostility in doing so."
Professer Michele Moore has published widely on education, childhood and family life, disability and inclusion. Her recent Womans Place UK presentation on children and self identity has become a YouTube sensation with more than 22k views.
