April 29 - May 4, 2019

The first C-Suite equivalent training for Tax Executives.  This one-week program, which is co-designed between TEI and CEDEP, will combine the views of leading academic faculty in the domains of strategy, governance and leadership with the visions of top professionals from the global tax scene.  

The overall objective of the program is to help executive tax leaders in their reflection on the complex and drastically changing fiscal world.  The combination of experienced faculty mixed with qualified, multicultural representatives from the business world will create a unique opportunity to test and challenge assumptions, push ideas and develop different ways to lead a tax team and interact with the many stakeholders a Head of Tax faces.


  • How to lead in a global and multi-cultural context
  • Tools and insights to get alignment with the overall company strategy, organization and people
  • Organizational design: getting insights to design our tax department for Purpose
  • Reflection on what is uncertainty and how to deal with it in the tax world
  • How to engage the organization

  • Learn about Fair Process and get views on the dynamics of high performance teams
  • Tools to improve the communication flow in an organization
  • Lean Talk and dealing with difficult situations
  • Develop an adapted strategy to deal with a VUCA World (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity)
  • Access to lifelong Alumni services and to the Harvard Manage Mentor modules


Wim Wuyts:  Co-founder of TEI Europe and founder of the International School for Tax Leadership.  The aspiration  of his School of Thought is to co-create with CEDEP Executive Tax Leadership Programs, which are organized across the globe.  

Alain Goudsmet:  Belgium.  A top sport mental coach who participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  His experiences give him expertise in the difference between coaching and motivating men and women, both individually and in teams.  He builds clear bridges between top performance and corporate dynamics.

Jens Meyer:  Germany.  Jens teaching and consultancy focuses on innovation and change.  His approach is to explore managerial beliefs, reveal cognitive biases and propose means and measures to adapt to, transform or overcome these.

Simone-Eva Redrupp.  Educated in five countries on two continents, and worked in 7 countries.  She comes from the financial & hospitality services, and the consulting field, where she has held senior operational, key account management and marketing positions with multinationals.  As a senior facilitator, she teaches, designs and facilitates international cross-cultural seminars for Fortune 500 companies.

This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California for up to 32.5hours; and the Silicon Valley Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc. certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education.  This organization adheres to the regulations and requirements prescribed in the Accountancy Act of the State Board of Accountancy.  Attending this program should permit an individual to claim up to 35.5 hours of California CPA continuing education credit.  Not registered with the NASBA.
