Event description

Description

Even the most profitable organization must eventually face change. The most common error made by an executive is to assume that their argument for change is so compelling that employees will accept their vision. However, only 22 percent of employees believe that executives present a clear direction of a change. With resistance, organizational change will cost more time and capital than anticipated, ending in failure 70 percent of the time. Successful change management helps individuals, teams and organizations transition. While many believe that “organizations” inherently resist change, it is the individual employee that may protect the status quo.

The purpose of this panel is to discuss the elements for successful change management, focusing on an organization’s employees. Some basic topic questions may include: How do we successfully manage individuals, teams and organizations through a change? What are the steps of a successful change? What are the most common causes of failure? How do we create a collaborative environment for change? And how do we get the individual to buy into the change?
