Expert Cytometry and the Columbia Stem Cell Initiative

Two Day Flow Cytometry Bootcamp

Columbia Edition

Educational Objectives: This two-day course will cover the fundamentals of flow cytometry to provide the critical concepts for the novice and intermediate users. This course focuses on the core concepts of flow cytometry – the ‘essentials’ that every scientist using flow should know. At the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of the complexities of flow cytometry experimental design, optimization, and analysis.

Target Audience: Users with basic flow cytometry understanding seeking to learn the essential concepts of flow cytometry and a desire to move to higher end assays (from 4 color to 8++ color experiments). Learning these fundamentals will ensure your flow cytometry experiments will yield results – which saves you time and money in the long run.

Course Outline and Schedule

Please note all times are approximate, based on the degree of audience participation.
