Join Save Mount Diablo for an exclusive guided tour of the spectacular 320-acre Irish Canyon property. The property is marked by three spring-fed branches of Irish Creek, blue oak woodland covers northeast facing slopes and valley oak savannah and grassland climb toward Kreiger Peak. Steep slopes are sculpted by landslide slumps. The property supports more than 400 species of plants and animals, provides world class views very few living people have seen, and has a rich history including two homestead sites. The hike is roughly 5 miles round trip with 900ft elevation gain/loss. No dogs allowed. Be sure to dress in layers and wear sturdy boots or shoes; bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a snack.

Directions: From I-680 North or downtown Walnut Creek head east on Ygnacio Valley Rd., continue on Ygnacio Valley Rd. for about 7 miles. Make a right onto Clayton Rd. and continue on Clayton Rd. for 2 miles. Turn left onto Peacock Creek Drive and the park-n-ride is on the right.
