Description

Did you know that America’s largest mausoleum is located right here in NYC? And is the final resting place for a U.S. President and his wife?

Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive after-hours tour of the General Grant National Memorial, the final resting place of Ulysses S. Grant (1822–1885), the 18th President of the United States.

Led by a National Park Ranger, our special experience will include:

  • A short film and discussion around Ulysses S. Grant and the memorial, from its controversial NYC-based location to the record-breaking private funding for its construction
  • Exclusive after-hours access inside the largest mausoleum in the Western Hemisphere where President Ulysses S. Grant and his wife Julia lay side by side
  • A closer look at the murals, sculptures, and Civil War flags in the dimly-lit chambers

Click here to see pictures from one of our last after-hours explorations of the General Grant National Memorial!

See you there!
