Evidence-based Kernels for Life-3-21-2017
Tue, March 21, 2017, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM EDT
Evidence-based Kernels for Life is a community-based prevention program made up of evidence-based strategies or "kernels" for improving the behavior, performance, and relationships with young people. An evidence-based kernel is the fundamental unit of behavior change. Evidence-based Kernels for Life teaches strategies to improve the cooperation and performance of young people at home or in the community. Inspired by decades of research from school teachers, developmental psychologists, prevention scientists, as well as age-old cultural wisdom, these strategies have been developed and honed for application with adults and any young person.
