Every Child Belongs: Building Inclusive Learning Communities Workshop

Every Child Belongs: Building Inclusive Learning Communities Workshop

By Kansas City PBS Education

Overview

Please join Kansas City PBS for an in-person workshop designed for early childcare providers and teachers.

Every Child Belongs: Building Inclusive Early Learning Communities

What does it mean to belong? Learning communities are built one person at a time. When people feel valued, they thrive socially, academically, cognitively, and emotionally. We will explore materials and teaching practices that will support learning for every child, family, and educator in the community.

This session will allow time to collaborate and plan with your team or fellow participants.

Participants will earn two clock hours, and a light meal will be provided. Free on-site parking is available in the lots located in front of and behind the building.

Funding for this workshop is provided by Hallmark and the Francis Family Foundation.
