Event Details

The Civil War Museum is like no other Civil War museum in the country. The museum focuses on the Civil War from the perspective of the people of the 6 upper middle west states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. No current museum explores how this war was experienced by the people at home and at the front nor connects the prewar causes and the postwar effects.
