Event description

Description

Thank you for your interest in the Women and Social Movements luncheon, sponsored by ProQuest. We’ve heard from many attendees that they’re uncomfortable traveling or attending group events with COVID-19 spreading. We understand and, working in collaboration with OAH, are cancelling this luncheon. We are working on some alternative ways to deliver the content we expected to share with you at this luncheon. We’ll keep you posted on this, but in the meantime, stay safe and healthy.

Event Details:

The Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600–2000
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of U.S. Women’s Suffrage, ProQuest is sponsoring a luncheon where the new editors of The Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600-2000, an electronic journal and digital database, will feature work in WASM related to rethinking women’s political engagement, particularly in light of race and empire. Please join us! Register early, as this event will sell out!
