Evening Volunteer Orientation
Wed, April 19, 2017, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM PDT
San Luis Obispo County Animal Services offers a variety of ways you can help animals. The work Animal Services accomplishes each day would not be possible without the generous contributions of dedicated volunteers. By joining our team of volunteers, you can have a huge impact on the lives of homeless animals. As a volunteer, you are a valuable asset to our organization, and to the many animals waiting for a new home. The first step in becoming a volunteer at is to attend volunteer orientation.
The volunteer orientation session begins promptly so please don't be late. Please give yourself enough time to arrive, park, check in, and be seated so the session may start on time. Check-in begins 20 minutes prior to the start of the session. Late arrivals may be turned away in order to limit the interruption to other guests once orientation begins.
Volunteer orientation takes place across the street from Animal Services,at the Honor Farm, in the APS meeting room. Please see image below for parking, meeting location, and building entrance.
Animal Services loves dogs and cats but our volunteer orientations are for people only.
We look forward to meeting you!
*Please note: volunteer positions are for those 18 years of age and older.
