Description

The Methodist Home for Children and Youth will proudly host Dr. Gary Chapman, author of The 5 Love Languages, at our annual Evening of Hope. The event will begin at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017 on our Macon campus. We would love for you to join us as we rejoice in the restoration of childhoods through our time together of fundraising, food, and fellowship with Dr. Chapman. This dinner is the primary fundraising event in which we generate significant funds for the boys and girls at The Methodist Home. We anticipate on having hundreds from the Middle GA region to join us at this special event and we want you to be a part of it!

Since 1979, Dr. Gary Chapman has written more than 20 books. His book, The Five Love Languages, has sold more than 4 million copies in English alone and has been translated into 36 languagesi. He has also appeared on several television and radio programs and has his own daily radio program called "A Love Language Minute " that can be heard on more than 100 radio stations across the United States. Dr. Chapman is also a senior associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he has served for 36 years. Gary and his wife, Karolyn, have been married for 45 years, have two children, and two grandchildren.
