Join artist Eleanor Cunningham for an exclusive Evening Art Reception in Edinburgh.
Eleanor’s new body of work continues her exploration into the enduring strength of both the landscape and ourselves after periods of change. Created through a process of layering delicate papers, washes of paint, and translucent materials, the works echo the shifting atmospheres of the John Muir Country Park estuary near her home in Dunbar. These layered surfaces mirror the passage of time, capturing traces of memory, regeneration, and renewal within the landscape.
Following on her Master’s in Fine Art at Falmouth University, this series deepens her ongoing investigation into the ways in which we find connection and belonging through place. Light, texture, and mark-making combine to suggest both fragility and endurance — a testament to nature’s continual cycles of transformation.
Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and drinks in an intimate setting, and to experience these new works that build upon the themes of Eleanor’s Regeneration series.
