Event description

Description

Evaluating Better Together is the first annual conference organized and led by graduate students in the Research Methods and Statistics (RMS) program at the University of Denver and sponsored by the Morgridge College of Education, the Colorado Evaluation Network, and the Organization for Program Evaluation in Colorado (OPEC).

The conference will provide a shared, safe space to discuss challenges and lessons learned in our current evaluation work and to foster authentic relationships between current and future evaluation practitioners. Dr. Beverly Parsons will provide the keynote address on the topics of systems in evaluation on the morning of Friday, September 28. The keynote address will be open to the public.

View the 2018 conference program here.

Registration

This 2-day conference will be held on Thursday, September 27 - Friday, September 28. The keynote address will be open to the public and the remaining conference events will require registration for all attendees. Lunch, snacks, and parking are included in the cost of registration for visitors to the DU campus. Registration options are available for both days or one day only. Since this is an inaugural effort, we will be monitoring registration throughout September and may make additional tickets available as interest and space allow.

Registration is available through September 20, 2018 (one week in advance of the event). As space allows, same-day registration will be available on-site. Costs for same-day registration will increase by $10 and cash/card will be accepted.

Transportation

Parking costs are included within the cost of non-student registration. If you are a student or if you only plan to attend they keynote address, parking passes can be purchased for $10/day (+ processing fee). Attendees are encouraged to consider using other transportation options (see our event webpage for transportation options). In particular, the light rail station for the University of Denver is a short 3-block walk from the event venue (Katherine A. Ruffatto Hall, University of Denver, at the corner of East Evans Ave & High Street).

The address for the building in which the conference will be held is: 1999 E Evans Ave, Denver, CO 80208
