EUSAIR Event on Intermodal Nodes

In the framework of the EUSAIR Flagship of Pillar 2 on Transport 'Adriatic-Ionian green-smart port hub concepts', the Conference seeks to foster a focused and open discussion on how digital solutions can help improve the management of rail operations and enhance the efficiency of interconnections between inland and port terminals, stimulating dialogue across the entire EUSAIR port system in the Adriatic-Ionian basin.

The conference, included in the activities foreseen by the EUSAIR Facility Point for the 2025 WorkplanPlan of Pillar 2, Transport section, is jointly organised by the Institute of Transport and Logistics Foundation (ITL), the Emilia-Romagna Region (RER) and the North Central Adriatic Sea Port Authority (ADSP MACS) with the support of CROSSFREIGHT, a project funded under the Italy Croatia Interreg Programme 21-27 aimed at enhancing rail shunting operations management.It will include presentations by several Port Authorities in the Adriatic Region, as well as Regional and European institutions.
